Parque Las Piedras

Also known as: Las Piedras

Las Piedras is one of the few rocky formations on the sandy bottom off Puerto Madryn and is used by dive operators as a natural underwater park. Long reefs with small caves shelter groupers, turcos, scorpionfish, starfish, sea urchins and snails. Depth varies greatly with the tide. Forests of the invasive alga Undaria grow on the rocks.
