St Georges Harbour

Freedom Divers enter at the end of the jetty, follow the rocks to a large natural archway, cross a sandy track and drop into a crater with a large swim-through before following rocks and seagrass down to about 18 m. Visit Pafos describes the boat ramp in the same harbour as a safe entry with good visibility, from which divers can head across to the nearby island in 6 to 18 m. Across a large sandbar, small reefs and seagrass make it a good place to look for octopus and to take macro photographs. A tiered wall at about 18 m has ancient pottery and ornaments on the seabed.
