Laboe
Also known as: Wreck of Laboe · Laboe Cruise Vessel · Laboe Shipwreck
The boat came to Cyprus in 2006 as a diving liveaboard and was later donated to the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research to be sunk under the artificial reefs and marine parks project. It lies intact and upright inside a protected marine park area. Divers can enter through the stern into the saloon, whose windows have been removed, continue to the bridge and down into the darker engine room with its intact engine. Resident groupers, barracudas and bream have moved in, stingrays and flounders use the silt, and marine biologists recorded 14 coral species on the wreck in 2020. The fine silt rises easily, so good buoyancy matters.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
