Ras Bashin
Ras Bashin marks the northern entrance of Shabus Bay. Divers start inside the bay with the reef on the left, cross a shallow sandy stretch of about 6 to 7 m and then follow the reef as it slopes away. Freestyle Divers describes a wall dressed in soft coral giving way to a gradual slope with green and purple soft corals. Barracuda, trevally, eagle rays, batfish and mantis shrimp are typical, and Freestyle Divers once met a school of more than 50 mobula rays here. An SMB and reel are recommended because currents can run hard.
