North Twin Plateau

Large granite boulders rest on a broad rocky plateau surrounded by gently sloping sand, a seascape that recalls the western Similan Islands. Operators suggest starting at the deeper edges and working inwards to cover ground, as the marine life is spread over a large area. Deeper parts carry dense forests of orange sea fans. Leopard, grey reef and whitetip reef sharks patrol the perimeter, and mantas and eagle rays use cleaning stations here from time to time.
