Fan Forest Pinnacle
Also known as: Fan Forest · Seafan Forest · Seafan Forest Pinnacle · Rocky Peaks · Western Rocky Pinnacle · Hin Taleh
The rock drops in steps of steep wall and sand terraces far below recreational depth, so dives usually start deep and spiral slowly upwards. Most of the giant gorgonians grow below 30 m, while anemone gardens with ghost pipefish, seahorses and harlequin shrimp cover the top. Leopard sharks and rays rest on the sand terraces, and the open position brings rainbow runners, barracuda and passing whale sharks, manta and eagle rays. Currents can be strong, and boats drop divers on a live entry with a surface marker buoy. Part of the east side was damaged by fishing in 2007, but the site is still rated one of the most colourful of the archipelago.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
