Kitutia

Also known as: Kitutia Reef

Kitutia is a coral reef surrounding a sand cay in the channel facing Jibondo Island, south of Mafia. It is visited as a full-day excursion that combines diving or snorkelling with a picnic on the sand islands at low tide and, in season, whale watching. The reef shelters small reef fish, lobsters, shrimps, crabs, nudibranchs and morays. Stingrays rest in the rubble. Divernet describes it as part of an all-day dive safari together with Mange Reef.
