Juani North
Juani reef runs the full length of Juani Island on its ocean side and is one of Mafia's few true fringing reef complexes. It slopes down with a mix of rock formations and hard and soft corals that give it a pink to purple hue. Big green turtles, which nest on the island, are often seen feeding offshore. Schools of snapper and emperor, giant trevally and large reef rays are common, and lobsters, groupers and guitar sharks hide under the rocks. Napoleon wrasse and occasional sharks pass in the blue.
