Condor Reef
Condor Reef lies far offshore and is often named as one of the best dives in Cambodia. Its main draw is the unusual rock architecture: huge rectangular blocks that look almost built, stepped terraces, small walls and at least one arch. Several ships, among them old Chinese junks, sank here and attracted treasure hunters; the wrecks have been salvaged, but a large anchor and parts of a hull remain on the eastern side. Visibility is often 30 m or more. Reef sharks, turtles and many moray eels are regular sightings, and whale sharks pass by. The site is exposed, so trips only run when the weather allows, mainly in high season.
