Wakinohama
Also known as: 脇の浜 (Japanese)
Divers enter from the west side of Futo harbour onto a broad area of boulders and sand dotted with large rocks. The sand here is coarser and darker than at neighbouring Yokobama, so different creatures live on it. Stingrays, guitarfish and sand-dwelling eels live on the sand, while frogfish and crustaceans hide around the rocks. There is almost no current.
