Torizaki
Also known as: 通り崎 (Japanese) · Torizaki Bay
The bay at Toi is protected from the wind and slopes gently, so conditions are stable year round. Rocky areas hold frogfish, blennies and butterflyfish, while the sand is home to yellownose shrimp gobies and yellow pygmy gobies. In autumn juvenile yellow boxfish and ghost pipefish arrive with the Kuroshio Current. Soft corals add colour, and a wreck lies at around 25 m, a rare chance for a wreck dive from shore. It is used for try dives and training.
