Tako-ne

Also known as: タコ根 (Japanese)

Atagawa is a historic hot-spring town on the east coast, and its dive sites are entered from the shore of Anagiri Bay. At Tako-ne a mini arch waits just after entry, sheltering frogfish, nudibranchs and crustaceans. Beyond it lie anemones with clownfish and then sand, where angel sharks and eagle rays show up. The site is shallow, the swim is short and there is almost no current, so beginners can relax here.
