Osezaki Wannai
Also known as: 湾内 (Japanese) · The Bay · Osezaki Inner Bay
The hooked shape of the cape protects the bay, so it stays diveable when weather closes other sites. Divers can enter anywhere along the beach and find damselfish on the rocky slopes and an underwater shrine, artificial reefs and even a statue and a motorcycle on the sand. Frogfish, yellownose shrimp gobies and yellow pygmy gobies are regulars, and a good guide can show more than 30 nudibranch species in a winter dive. Because Suruga Bay is very deep, anglerfish and lancetfish sometimes come up in winter. Night dives are possible, and Mount Fuji can be seen from the beach.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
