Maekado
Also known as: マエカド (Japanese)
Only about four to five minutes from Futo harbour, Maekado is surprisingly dynamic. Below the mooring line the rocky bottom slopes away and keeps getting deeper. Large, colourful soft corals grow in dense colonies, and schools of takabe and grunts drape the drop-off. The current sometimes runs here.
