Kosoga Cave

Also known as: 小曽我洞窟 (Japanese) · Kosoga Dokutsu

The cave lies about ten minutes by boat from Atami harbour. Its tunnel runs for roughly 40 m in a curve and is wide enough for a buddy pair to swim through side by side. Looking back from inside, divers see a glowing window of light at the entrance, and more light falls in at the exit. Cardinalfish schools sometimes gather inside the tunnel. A dive light is considered essential, and the site is only opened for part of the year.
