Ipponmatsu
Also known as: 一本松 (Japanese)
From boulders down to around 15 m the bottom turns into broad sand. Large sea fans and soft corals grow on the way, and cardinalfish and scalefin anthias gather in schools. Nudibranchs and other macro life are plentiful, and ornate ghost pipefish can turn up among the boulders. Ocean sunfish sometimes appear in early spring. The current runs at times.
