La Pared
Also known as: The Wall
The dive starts at a cliff that rises out of the water on Isla Redonda and drops vertically, with the main wall reaching about 12 m before a sand slope begins at around 24 m. Erosion has opened cracks and small caves in the rock, and a torch helps when looking inside. Huge boulders create crevices and short swim-throughs. Encrusting and soft corals, gorgonians, sponges and other invertebrates cover the rock. The nudibranch Tambja abdere is a signature species and gathers in large numbers from April to June.
