La Crique
La Crique is usually dived after Coco Bay and is one of the favourite dives of the Bora Dive team. Its centrepiece is a limestone pinnacle whose tip lies about 5 m down, where divers make their safety stop. Most of the dive is spent around 18 m among rocky hills searching for nudibranchs and lobsters, and local operators say Sainte-Marie has no better site for nudibranch variety. South of the peak stands an impressive expanse of foliose Montipora coral. Boxfish, butterflyfish and surgeonfish are common, and Madadive notes that visibility is often reduced.
