Ile aux Nattes
Also known as: L'Île aux Nattes
The reef lies just outside the lagoon of Ile aux Nattes and stays shallower than twenty metres. It covers a large area, and the dive is a search among the stones for animals trying to stay hidden. Stingrays, guitarfish and torpedo rays are the typical finds, along with spiny lobsters and nudibranchs. Green and hawksbill turtles cross the reef, and with luck a pair of whitetip reef sharks appears. Divingaway adds that a whale shark is sometimes seen in the area.
