Le Canyon

Le Canyon is a sand-floored gully almost 20 m deep that runs between two coral spurs close to Moucha Island. It is protected from the wind, and several sources describe it as a calm site where beginners are welcome. Hard corals, coral gardens and a large field of anemones with clownfish line the canyon. Butterflyfish, wrasses, jacks, green turtles, morays, stingrays, groupers and Napoleon wrasse are reported. Visibility is usually 10 to 15 m depending on the weather.
