Coral Canyons
Coral Canyons resembles nearby Coral Gardens, with no sand in the back reef and very healthy hard coral. Starting at about 40 feet, divers head north and soon reach a canyon that begins at about 60 feet and runs down to about 85 feet before the reef falls away to a wide sand bed beyond 120 feet. On the way back along the shallow reef top, large coral heads with mushroom-shaped undercuts often hide sleeping nurse sharks. Traveling with Scuba Jay recommends it for underwater photography.
