W.E. Wreck
Also known as: WE Wreck · W.E. Freighter
The ship was found abandoned after it had ended up on Grace Bay Beach and was sunk deliberately to create a dive site. It did not stay where it was placed and now rests deep, with the bow around 100 feet and the stern beyond 160 feet. The freighter is reported to be still intact. Because of the depth, Visit Turks and Caicos Islands says dive companies do not visit it, and Provo Turtle Divers called it a dive for the experienced only. The scattered remains of the Southwind freighter lie nearby.
