Grouper Hole
The site takes its name from the deep crevice or grotto next to the mooring, where groupers shelter. A large coral head stands in the middle of a sand chute that guides divers down to a gently sloping wall. In the years before the marine park, the site was used for grouper feeding, and Nassau groupers can still be seen around a cave at the site. Tiger grouper, barracuda, black durgon and schools of blue tang also occur here. The gentle slope lets divers choose their depth, which is why the site is described as suitable for all levels.
