Pinnacles
The site is a textbook spur-and-groove reef: ridges of coral separated by sandy channels, with large stands of pillar coral that give it its distinctive look. The spurs rise close to the surface while a mini wall drops to a wide sandy ledge dotted with coral islands. Because the reef starts shallow and continues past 100 feet, it can be dived either as a shallow or a deep dive. Moray eels and lobsters hide in the coral heads, and dive shops have long mentioned a friendly resident Nassau grouper called Scratch. Graceland is the neighbouring site.
