HMS Louis
HMS Louis was a Laforey-class destroyer that, according to the park site, was damaged in a collision with a tug, drifted and grounded north of Suvla Bay, and was then wrecked during salvage attempts carried out only at night. Of the roughly 82 m hull, about 45 m remains visible above the sand while the rest is buried. Its four Yarrow-type boilers are the highlight and attract many fish, which makes the site popular with photographers. The wreck lies close to the shore in shallow water, and Girls that Scuba notes that even newly certified Open Water divers can explore it.
