Candyland

Also known as: Candy Land

Candyland is named after the children's board game: Scuba Diving and the SSI blog both liken its large, odd-shaped coral mounds to the sweets of that game. On the leeward side of the island, the site is a wide field of limestone boulders, each overgrown with coral, sponges and big sea fans. Grunts, yellowtail snappers, coneys and horse-eye jacks move between the rocks, and nurse sharks shelter under low ledges. Turtles, stingrays and eagle rays are also reported. Puerto Rico Day Trips dived it as the first site of their Desecheo trip.
