Watamula

Also known as: Wata Mula

The name comes from the Dutch for water mill, also the name of the neighbouring national park. Hard coral formations alternate with sandy patches full of giant barrel sponges and soft corals. Currents can run north to south, south to north or in circles, and on steady days they make a fine drift. Ocean triggerfish, chubs, porcupinefish, bogas, turtles and rays are seen regularly. Shore entries are not recommended because of the currents.
