Elvin's Plane Wreck

The aircraft once flew as an island hopper for Antillean Airlines and was donated by the fire department to All West Apartments and Go West Diving. The site honours Elvin, a cousin of the Go West owner. Today the aluminium pieces lie on sandy patches among fine hard corals. Turtles, ocean triggerfish, lobsters, porcupinefish, green morays and large schools of bogas are seen, and barracudas gather off Watamula.
