Jan Thiel Bay
Also known as: Jan Thielbaai
Entry and exit are easy, which makes the bay a classic Curaçao profile. Outside the bay the reef gets steeper, with rich hard and soft coral cover. Reef squid often hover at eye level, and turtles, moray eels and the occasional nurse shark are seen. The wreck of the Strea inside the bay makes a pleasant end to a dive or snorkel.
