Okikawa Maru
The tanker was set on fire in the raid of 24 September 1944 and only sank in October after a further bombing. Its broken-off bow still lies beside the hull. The upper structure is densely covered with coral and is known for macro life, while schools of snappers and big batfish hang in the current at the bow. Trained wreck divers can enter along the propeller shaft into the engine room and visit the cargo tanks. Tidal currents here can be strong.
