Morazan Maru

Also known as: Morazan · SS Morazan

Before Japanese service the ship carried bananas for Central American fruit companies under the name El Morazan. Hard and soft corals cover the port side that now faces the surface. Four large cargo holds and the engine room, where two boilers remain and sunlight falls through the salvage opening, are easy to enter, and the wreck can be crossed from bow to stern inside. Groupers, sweetlips, crocodilefish, sea snakes, turtles and many scorpionfish are reported here.
