Silverado
Also known as: Silver Cove
Silverado is a shallow site where divers rest on a sandy bottom at about 13 m next to a pinnacle roughly two metres high, whose top acts as a cleaning station. It became famous for silvertip sharks waiting their turn there. According to Undersea Hunter, silvertips have been rare since about 2007, perhaps displaced by growing numbers of blacktip, Galapagos and tiger sharks, and most divers now leave the site out. The operator names the afternoon as the usual time to dive it. Wannadive reports low current.
