Dois Olhos

Also known as: Dos Olhos

Dois Olhos is a cave site on Sal, reached overland from the shore or by boat. A long tunnel runs through it, and at the shore exit a ladder is needed to climb out of the water. The caves are rich in crustaceans, with several kinds of crabs and shrimps, green and red lobsters and very large slipper lobsters. Nudibranchs that Cabo Verde Diving has seen only in these caves, as well as stingrays and jacks, are also reported.
