Djeu
Djeu is a small islet that Haliotis reaches in about ten minutes by boat from Mindelo bay on São Vicente, and the dive is rich in life. Waves and strong currents are frequent, and they raise the odds of seeing pelagic fish such as amberjack, barracuda and sometimes tuna. Dive Tribe dives the south side in the shelter of the rock, usually with little current, and sees large java morays, lobsters and frogfish there. The north side is normally a north to south drift with schools of barracuda, wahoo and occasionally whale sharks and mantas. Dive Tribe gives 30 m and more on both sides.
