Carbonero
Also known as: Pecio Carbonero · Thordisa · Lilla · S.S. Thordisa
The Carbonero got its nickname from the coal found in one of its holds. It was sunk while coming to the aid of the steamer Doris, which the same U-boat had attacked earlier that day. The ship sits in sailing position on a sandy bottom, but it is broken in two near the stern and most dives stay on the deck below 30 m. Amberjack, groupers, big conger eels and barracuda schools surround the hull, and sunfish visit regularly. The wreck is not buoyed and is visited by fishermen, so divers must watch for lost nets and lines.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
