Wheatfield

Also known as: Wheatfields · Wheat Field

Wheatfield lies on Midway Reef, before the Vatu-i-Ra Passage. It has two pinnacles, and the shallow top of the larger one is covered in corals that wave like wheat when the current runs. Soft corals and sea fans decorate the sides. Resident ribbon moray eels and several lionfish species live here, and visibility is often around 24 m or more.
