Maytag
Maytag follows a deep reef wall with large coral bommies scattered in front of it, and its name, after a washing machine brand, describes the current. Dive Pacific reports currents of over two knots, which divers use by sheltering behind the bommies. One bommie hides a large cave with resident emperor angelfish and sweetlips and is covered in red and pink soft corals. Bubblevision rates it among Fiji's best reefs for diversity, with soft corals, mushroom leather corals, lyretail and magenta slender anthias and sailfin tangs.
