La Tortuga
La Tortuga is part of the large El Peñón reef system in the protected national park, where fishing is banned. Turtles are the main draw, and divers also look for nudibranchs, large lionfish and green morays among the rocks and coral. Eagle rays sometimes pass over the reef. The water usually has little current and good visibility, so the site is also used by snorkelers.
