El Chicho
Also known as: Cueva de Chicho
ScubaFun drives its divers about 15 to 20 minutes from Bayahibe into the national park, where a pool at the bottom of the dry cave opens into the flooded passages. Its wide passages, clear water and natural light near the entrance make it a common introduction to overhead diving. Stalactites and stalagmites line the tunnel. Guides keep recreational divers in the cavern zone, and only certified cave divers continue into the full cave.
