Dive center XTC Dive Center

XTC Dive Center is in Xcalak, Mexico, on the border with Belize and within the Xcalak Reef National Marine Park. It teaches in English, Spanish, German, French and Dutch. The centre runs diving in the Great Maya Reef and Banco Chinchorro, with day trips to the atoll and local boat diving on walls, canyons, swim-throughs, caverns and reef sites such as La Poza, La Chimenea, Hob Na and Punta Gavilan. La Poza can be a relaxed reef dive or a drift dive and often brings tarpon into view; the deep walls at Hob Na and Punta Gavilan reach 250 feet and suit technical diving. The centre has a purpose-built training pool, access to shallow inner-reef training areas and on-site accommodation, and it is a PADI 5* IDC Center and 100% AWARE partner with courses from beginner level through instructor level, including Tec Rec, sidemount and rebreather training.
