Northland Dive is in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. It runs shore-based day trips to the Bay of Islands and Cavalli Islands, and liveaboard trips to the Poor Knights Islands aboard Sun Spy, a custom-designed catamaran for divers with a diver lift and nitrox fills. The diving includes the Canterbury wreck in Maunganui Bay, lying upright at 38m with openings to multiple decks, and the Rainbow Warrior wreck, alongside reef diving, caves, canyon walls, swim-throughs, sponge and kelp gardens. The lodge is in the Bay of Islands, central to the local dive sites, and offers accommodation, home-cooked meals, and gear hire. Northland Dive is run by Shane and Julia, with an experienced team, and training is currently on pause, with SSI Advanced Adventurer, SSI Specialty Diver, SSI Advanced Open Water Diver, SSI Master Diver, SSI Dive Guide and XR Programs planned when it resumes.
