Dive center La Tribu Diving Academy

La Tribù Diving Academy is in San Terenzo in Liguria, Italy, on the Gulf of Poets. It offers freediving, snorkeling and scuba, with guided dives from a base set under the Monumental Castle of San Terenzo, built into the rock a short walk from the jetty. The centre uses two RIBs, Big Manta and Paikea, and its dive sites include Secca del Grimaldo near the Parco delle 5 Terre, Le Rosse, Scoglio Ferale, Secca del Ferale and Grotta Byron near Portovenere. The diving ranges from easy wall and reef dives to deeper secche, with depths from 3 to 24 metres, variable current and plenty of marine life such as octopus, moray eels, lobsters, barracuda, Apogon imberbis and gorgonians. On site there is a classroom, equipment rental, tank filling, a tank park, rinsing and storage areas, plus showers and a large changing room.
