It focuses on fun diving from its own large boat, Gobies III, with the main area around Shimozone, a famous offshore site off Aka Island known for giant manta rays and, in recent years, whale sharks. The centre also runs seasonal expedition diving to Aguni Island and Tonaki Island, and it offers boat snorkeling in July and August. Diving is arranged as drift diving when conditions are stable, with small groups of up to 10 guests on the centre’s own boat. It is aimed at experienced divers comfortable with currents and longer swims.
