Dive center BLUEMOTION

BLUEMOTION, Banda Islands, Indonesia. Courses are available in English and Indonesian, and all dive courses are carried out by certified SSI instructors. Based on Banda Naira, the centre runs boat diving to more than 40 dive sites around Banda, with trips from August to May and a seasonal break in June and July. The diving features clear water, often 30 m and sometimes 50 m plus, steep walls, gorgonian gardens, barrel sponges, healthy coral communities and frequent turtle encounters; hammerheads can appear in the right season, and some sites include caves. The team is entirely Bandanese, with a friendly, familiar atmosphere, and the centre keeps an underwater library and species identification books at the base. It follows Green Fins rules, works with Luminocean on marine conservation, and offers nitrox.
