Sport Divers of Houston is based in Webster, in the Houston area of the United States. The shop has trained Houston-area divers since 1979 and is the oldest dive shop in Greater Houston and the third oldest in Texas. SSI certification training runs from beginner level through course director, with try-dives, rescue and specialty training. Classes welcome all age groups, and a kids’ scuba camp runs annually. Open-water training includes local Texas sites Mammoth Lake and Blue Lagoon, alongside academic and confined-water sessions. The centre also takes divers on trips around the area. Alongside instruction, it sells diving equipment and handles equipment inspections and repairs.
