Dykkesenter Mediterranean Dive Center

Mediterranean Dive Center is based in Kastela, Piraeus, in the Attica dive area of Greece. The PADI 5 Star IDC Center was founded by Christos Pozidis, a former Navy officer who trained underwater demolition divers from 1973 to 1989. The centre runs a PADI school for recreational and technical diving, with training through instructor level, and a dive club that organises trips in Greece and abroad. Day trips reach dive sites around Attica, including wrecks. The centre also undertakes international technical and research projects. It maintains a dedicated workshop for equipment servicing and repair, and compressors for cylinder fills including nitrox and trimix. The centre has a teaching room and dive-equipment shop, with gear available to buy or rent.
