Geersdijk

A Veerse Meer site at the Geersdijk canal with a small beach, so no dike has to be climbed. Oysters covered with lichens and anemones make it colourful, and sepia structures at about seven metres attract cuttlefish in season.

Divers walk into the water from the little beach and swim west at around seven metres to reach the sepia structures. The oysters along the way are coloured by crusts and anemones. The site goes down to about fifteen metres. Benches and, in summer, a mobile toilet are provided, and there is enough parking.
