Boulder Rock

Boulder Rock is a boulder and overhang site in the Mergui Archipelago, dived on cruises between South Twin, North Twin and the MacLeod Island area. It is rich in soft corals and macro life, and whale sharks are seen here often.

Large boulders and dark overhangs create a dramatic landscape full of sponges and soft corals. Devil scorpionfish, porcelain crabs and anemone shrimps hide in the cracks, and nudibranchs are plentiful. Schools of fusiliers stream above the reef while giant trevally pass through the blue. Whale sharks are often seen here.
