Le Couloir aux Gorgones

Le Couloir aux Gorgones runs along the wall south of the Grand Congloué rock, east of Riou island, inside the Riou no-take zone. The gorgonian gully that gives the site its name runs parallel to the cliff from around 50 to 55 m, and divers are asked to stay close to the sand so they do not damage the fragile fans. The rest of the dive follows a splendid wall that drops past 65 m, with the safety stops on the plateau or along the cliff. Current is possible and a mooring buoy is available.
