Coral Islands
Also known as: The Coral Patches
Coral Islands is made up of several extensive coral patches built around ancient Porites formations and divided by sand channels. The sand reflects light back onto the coral, making the colours stand out. Fish shoals here are among the densest in the bay. Spotted garden eels live in large colonies in the sand around the patches. Leaf fish, scorpionfish, crocodilefish, morays and marbled groupers are found on the reef.
